Thank you for considering making a donation to the Greer Shelter to Empower People (STEP). Your generosity and support are invaluable in helping us provide essential resources to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Below is a list of items that are currently needed at our shelter:
Clothing
- Winter coats, jackets, and sweaters
- Hats, gloves, scarves, and socks
Personal Care Items
- Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Disposable razors and shaving cream
- Feminine hygiene products
- Hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes
Bedding and Linens
- Twin-sized, full-sized, queen-sized bed sheets, blankets, and comforters
- Pillows and pillowcases
- Towels and washcloths
Kitchen and Household Supplies
- Bottled Water
- Paper towels and napkins
- Plates, cups, and utensils
- Pots and pans
- Cleaning supplies (dish soap, laundry detergent, etc.)
- Air freshener
- 13 Gallon Trash bags
Miscellaneous Items
- Backpacks and duffle bags
- Gift cards (supermarkets, department stores, etc.)
- Public transportation passes or tokens
- Phone cards or prepaid mobile phone minutes
Please note that all donated items should be in good condition and within their expiration dates for consumable goods.
Donation Drop-Off Information:
Donations are received Monday – Friday, 9am – 12pm at STEP, 511 A East Poinsett Street, Greer, SC 29651. You May also contact via email [email protected] to make other arrangements or if we need to pick up the items.
